The 2026 Utah Martin Luther King Day Celebration unites residents, community leaders, businesses, and organizations in a powerful way of connection and purpose. Our theme, Building the Beloved Community, incorporates Dr. King’s vision of a society rooted in compassion, fairness, and collective responsibility. The celebration will feature a series of community-centered events, including a community gathering, a reflective program with local speakers and performances, a celebration walk, a choir concert, and service and art projects. All designed to bring Dr. King’s dream to life through unity and action.
