The 2026 Utah Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration brings together residents, community leaders, businesses, and organizations to honor Dr. King’s legacy through connection, reflection, and action.

The day includes opportunities for the community to gather, learn, serve, and move together, including:

• A community gathering at the Utah State Capitol

• A program featuring local speakers and performances

• A celebration walk from the Capitol to the Regent Black Box Theater

• A community choir concert

• Community service projects, including assembling winter care packages for the unhoused
